Project Overview:
The client requested a full-page ad unit that would allow users to view an overhead map of Universal’s Epic Universe and explore each of the five themed parks. The primary challenge was to incorporate a large volume of content—including multiple parks, park descriptions, image galleries, video, CTAs, and brand logos—without overwhelming the user experience.
Outcome:
Developed a full-page cross-screen unit for Universal Studios Orlando featuring an interactive, overhead map of the all-new Epic Universe theme park. Users can navigate between worlds by selecting map pinpoints that reveal structured pop-ups with headers, descriptions, image galleries, and video content. The experience balances depth and usability, allowing seamless exploration across parks. The unit achieved a 5.39% click-through rate, 19.64% interaction rate, 40.09% video completion rate, and delivered 497K impressions.
