The Ask:
Ajay and Kathleen were looking for a wedding invitation that aligned with their New York City–themed celebration. Kathleen provided visual inspiration centered around black-and-white palettes and minimal line illustrations of the NYC skyline, which helped establish the overall direction for the design.

Outcome:
Using the inspiration imagery as a foundation, we developed a custom black-and-white line illustration of the New York City skyline—drawn from the perspective of their wedding venue in Queens to add a personal, location-specific detail. We then selected typography that complemented the clean, modern tone of the reference materials and designed the invitation around the illustration, resulting in a timeless, city-inspired suite that felt both intentional and tailored to their wedding theme.
